Date of documentation: August 29th 2016她叫张虹，长年居住在大巴山深山中，性格有些内向，不太爱说话，有着大山特有的纯善与质朴。母亲因弟弟年幼而无法外出工作，父亲亦没有念过什麽书，只能到工地做些粗重工夫，靠绑钢筋挣些血汗钱供养两姐弟。长时间工作导致他腰间盘突出，压垮了本就不好的身体。
懂事的张虹一放假不是跑去玩，而是留在家裡分担家务，照顾弟弟。但她仍微笑着说道：「人总是应该学会苦中作乐的。」
从小，张虹就憧憬成为一名摄影师，但因为家贫，愿望一直未能成真。
今年，香港善学通过彩虹村平臺对农村贫困高中生伸出了援助之手，张虹正是受惠学生之一。谈及未来，她憧憬有一天能接受系统的摄影培训，实现当摄影师的梦想﹗

Her name is Zhang Hong, and she lives deep in the Daba mountains for most of the year. She’s shy and introverted, yet possesses the qualities of a kind and genuine person.
Because of her brother’s young age, her mother cannot go out to work, and her father didn’t go through much schooling, and can only work in construction sites to make money for Zhang Hong and her brother. His long working hours have led to his hip joints protruding, adding on to the stress of an already week body. Zhang Hong’s sensibility is prominent during her school holidays, where she gives up hanging out with friends and enjoying herself to help her family out with chores and taking care of her brother. She smiles, lifting her eyebrows and says: ‘people will always learn that you can create joy from suffering’.
From a young age, Zhang Hong has always aspired to become a photographer, but because of her family’s financial status, her dreams could not come true.
This year, through Rainbow Village, Hok Sheen was able to extend its help to students from poor village families, and Zhang Hong was one of the beneficiaries. When speaking of the future, she stated that she hopes to be able to receive training in photography, and achieve her dream of becoming a photography.
We hope one day, we can all see Zhang Hong’s works!
